Any reference to “you,” “your,” or “client” refers to the person booking and/or attending an online consultation. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Advameen. References to “the Advisor” refer to the skin, hair, or health and wellness expert you will be connected to.

Advameen is a platform that connects individuals with skincare, haircare, and health and wellness professionals (“Advisors”) for online consultations. By using our website, you agree to these terms and conditions, which govern your access to and use of our services. Advameen acts solely as a platform to connect clients with independent Advisors. We do not provide any services ourselves or guarantee any specific outcomes related to consultations. All consultations are managed by the listed professionals, who are responsible for their own advice and services.

HOW WE MAY CONTACT YOU

We will only contact you regarding your online consultation. Contact will only be made through the information you have provided when booking your online consultation.

Advameen will have no access to any information or data you provide to the Advisor. This includes any information shared before, during or after your consultation.

USING OUR PLATFORM

To use Advameen and book a consultation, you must be at least 18 years old. By accessing our services, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you will provide accurate information when registering an account or making a booking.

OUTCOME FROM CONSULTATION AND ADVICE OFFERED

Advisors will not offer or provide any form of medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Whilst Advisors may address issues that may be medical in nature, the advice offered will only be general and non-medical. If in doubt, please consult with a medical professional for a specific health or medical concern.

The advice provided by Advisors is for informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your GP, doctor or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or concern.

Advameen Skincare Consultations are focused on providing expert advice to clients in the following areas through virtual video consultations only and clients can choose what they want to focus on during their skincare consultation. All advice will be personalised to meet the client’s needs, goals or concerns:


Skincare product recommendations: Recommending over-the-counter products, including those available in-store or online.
Skincare routine guidance: Assisting clients in structuring a daily or weekly skincare routine.
Lifestyle guidance: Advising on habits that support healthy skin.
Targeted skincare goal or concern: Helping clients achieve targeted haircare outcomes for a specific skin goal or concern.

Advameen Haircare Consultations are focused on providing expert advice to clients in the following areas through virtual video consultations only and clients can choose what they want to focus on during their haircare consultation. All advice will be personalised to meet the client’s needs, goals or concerns:

Haircare product recommendations: Recommending over-the-counter products, including those available in-store or online.
Haircare routine guidance: Assisting clients in structuring a daily or weekly haircare routine.
Lifestyle guidance: Advising on habits that support a healthy hair and scalp.
Targeted haircare goal or concern: Helping clients achieve targeted haircare outcomes for a specific goal or concern.

Advameen Body Consultations are focused on providing expert non-medical advice to clients in the following areas through virtual video consultations only. Clients can choose what they want to focus on during their body consultation. All advice will be personalised to meet the client’s needs, goals or concerns:
 
Weight management guidance:
Providing advice on maintaining a healthy weight through balanced nutrition and lifestyle habits.
Weight loss guidance: Offering advice on healthy, sustainable weight loss strategies.
Weight gain guidance: Offering healthy weight gain advice and guidance.
Healthy eating recommendations: Offering guidance on nutritious food choices to support overall well-being.
General health and wellness lifestyle advice: Advising on holistic approaches to maintaining good health.

ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES – ADVICE OFFERED

Advisors on Advameen operate independently. They are verified professionals and experts in their field and hold relevant qualifications and experience to provide the advice they offer. Advisors agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding their practice. They are solely responsible for the advice they offer. If you have any concerns or queries regarding the advice offered by the Advisor, please contct them directly.

ADVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES – PRODUCT RECOMMENDATIONS

To ensure impartial and client-focused advice, Advisors will recommend products solely based on the client’s specific needs and never for personal financial gain. Advisors are prohibited from recommending products they sell, own, or have a financial interest in unless the product clearly benefits the client. In such cases, the Advisor will disclose their relationship with the product and explain the products benefits and reasoning behind the recommendation. Where possible, alternative options will be provided to give clients choice. All recommendations will be centred around the client’s well-being and needs.


While direct links to products may be provided by the Advisor in the brief summary sent to the client, either upon request or if it may be helpful – Advisors will not pressure, encourage, or request the client to purchase products through these specific links. The decision of where to purchase the product will be left entirely to the client, ensuring they have the freedom to choose. However, recommended products will generally be easily accessible for purchase in any in-person store or online, without the need for a direct link. This policy is in place to ensure that product recommendations remain unbiased, transparent, and always in the best interest of the client. Advisors are expected to fully comply with these guidelines.


PAYMENTS, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES


Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.

If you are more than 10 minutes late to your consultation, it will be cancelled, and no refund will be provided. If you are less than 10 minutes late, the consultation will be shortened by the length of your delay.

Similarly, in the rare occasion that the Advisor is more than 10 minutes late, the consultation will be cancelled, and you will receive a full refund. Please inform us as soon as possible if this happens. If the Advisor is less than 10 minutes late, the consultation will still run for its full scheduled duration, even if it slightly extends beyond the original end time.


In the rare event that the Advisor needs to cancel a consultation, you will be notified as soon as possible, and a full refund or the option to reschedule will be offered. If the Advisor is unable to attend due to an unexpected circumstance beyond their control, they may offer to reschedule. The Advisor will contact you directly to arrange a new time that works for you.

If the consultation is interrupted due to technical issues beyond the control of either the client or Advisor, efforts will be made to reschedule the session. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be issued.
 
Cancellation and refund policy
 
You must cancel at least 48 hours before the scheduled consultation to receive a full refund. Once cancelled, you will receive a refund within 14 days of cancellation.

If you cancel less than 48 hours before the consultation, you will not be entitled to a refund.
 
Re-scheduling your appointment

You can reschedule a booked appointment once only, provided you give at least 48 hours’ notice. You can reschedule to another date but cannot cancel this re-scheduled appointment and cannot re-schedule again.

If you cancel or look to re-schedule again, you will not be entitled to a refund.

 
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients must provide truthful and relevant information during consultations. The advice received should not replace professional medical treatment, and clients should consult a licensed healthcare provider for medical or health concerns.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Advameen is not liable for the advice given by independent advisors. We do not guarantee specific outcomes and are not responsible for any direct or indirect loss resulting from consultations or interactions on our platform.

In no event will Advameen, its service providers, employees, agents, officers, or directors be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising from or in connection with your use, or inability to use, Advameen, any third-party services linked to it (including, but not limited to, the scheduling platform), the conduct of third parties, or any bookings or transactions made through such third-party services. This includes, but is not limited to, direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

However, this limitation of liability does not apply in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or fraud by Advameen. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.


PRIVACY, DATA PROTECTION AND GOVERNING LAWS

We take privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, store, and protect your data. By using our platform, you consent to our data practices outlined in the Privacy Policy.


These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to UK jurisdiction.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
